Rock Reamers and Hole Openers

SlimDril manufactures a variety of HDD specific reaming assemblies including Barrel Reamers, Fly Cutters and Hole Openers (TCI or Mill Tooth). All reamers and hole openers are manufactured to the highest industry standards and feature fixed and/or field-replaceable cutters.

All assemblies are manufactured using high strength materials and are fully maintained and inspected after each use, inclusive of Third Party NDT inspection.

Rock Reamer Rentals

SlimDril offer the Drilling Contractor a large range of Heavy Duty Rock Reamers from our R Type Range for rental on either a long or short term arrangement.

Our current rental fleet of Bodies comprises of the following:

• R4 : Range  8 ½” to 12” Diameter
• R6 : Range 12” to 20” Diameter
• R8 : Range 16” to 26” Diameter
• R17 : Range 24” to 34” Diameter
• R26 : Range 32” to 42” Diameter
• R36 : Range 42” to 52” Diameter

All Reamer bodies are available with Milled tooth or TCI Cutters and are supplied with Arms, in addition all tools are independently inspected both before and after rental to API specification

SlimDril keep a full stock of all size and type cutters in stock at both its UK and US facilities. SlimDril can also assist with supplying any crossovers and Blank subs that may also be required
